The Challenge
The STEM Alliance sought strategic fundraising and event support surrounding two major initiatives: STEM-tastic and the Summer Matters Gala celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Co-Op Summer Enrichment Camp. The organization was looking to elevate the overall event experience, strengthen sponsorship engagement, increase visibility, and create a more cohesive and mission-centered fundraising strategy.
The Strategy
Cimi partnered closely with organizational leadership and communications staff to help strengthen sponsorship outreach, event storytelling, donor engagement, programming, and overall gala strategy.

To help create a more immersive and mission-connected guest experience, Cimi conceptualized the use of branded beach towels in the organization’s signature colors as both event décor and guest takeaway items. The strategy transformed the room visually while simultaneously creating a memorable branded experience that extended beyond the event itself.
Rather than investing heavily in traditional décor that would only serve the evening, the approach aligned event aesthetics, donor experience, branding, and guest engagement into one integrated fundraising strategy.
The Impact
The initiative helped elevate the overall guest experience while strengthening branding visibility and donor engagement surrounding the organization’s milestone celebration.
The creative décor concept became a successful and memorable component of the gala experience, while Cimi’s broader fundraising and sponsorship support helped strengthen community engagement and organizational visibility surrounding STEM Alliance programming and the 60th Anniversary celebration of Co-Op Summer Enrichment Camp.
